I still feel like the bike is a little rich and am still getting a great deal of spooge. I am wondering if the cable actuated choke is contributing to this? I will swap with plunger choke and re-evaluate.

Oil brand & ratio, too? I'm on Motul 710 @ 2% with 98RON fuel. I've gotta say, the 250 has a big squish gap - 2.06mm - and it's taken a bit of fiddling to get the jetting set how I want it. All good - nice to get to know the bike, too.
Sorry for the thread hijack..
