Rotella oil ($14-$23 a gallon at Walmart) works great. Full synthetic (T6) is usually the thinnest so it works better with GG clutches that tend to drag a little. T5 is the semi-synthetic and a little cheaper. They also make a non-synthetic oil that is the cheapest and works very well with some GG clutches. I pick the cheapest Rotella oil that doesn't allow clutch drag. I leave it in the motor until the clutch starts to drag a little because of "dirt" in the oil then I change it. If that interval (for me 5-6 rides) isn't long enough I switch to a thinner, more costly grade of Rotella. I have used Rotella for more than 20 years and have found nothing that works better - some worked as well but were much more expensive.
