Sam Houston National Forest is probably the best place to ride around here. 80 some miles of trails. Just need to get a texas OHV sticker when you get down here. The trails do close though if they are too wet, at NFS's discretion.
I try to ride there every weekend if I can. I'd be happy to show you around. Gasgasman frequents the forest also and he knows the trails a lot better than I do.
