You just turn the knob according to your altitude. I can reach down and adjust the needle with my gloves on.
There are no external vent hoses on this carb-no dirt or water issues.
There is a die cast version coming out in the fall that will be way cheaper.
I have given the engineering dept at APT tons of "real world" feedback on this carb. A much better production version will be available on the billet version.
