So, I'm bumping this back to the top as I'm a bit confused again on the year.

Like most of you, I thought I had a 2000 model (EC maybe) due to the plastics, but I found this thread on here that broke down the VIN.

If I follow the logic above, that means I have a 2001 GasGas XC250.

So now you can see why I'm confused? All the plastics point to a 2000 model, but the VIN clearly states its an 01 model?
