I have run it on my desktop power supply, and it seems pretty bright. I only ran in for an hour to see if it would fail. It seems OK for the price. It comes with two, so if one craps out, you can replace it pretty quickly.
I have purchased this brand of LED on my snowthrower (mounted the lights on the snowblower) for my kubota tractor, and they've lasted a year. That's not an easy environment.
