That's the reason the tank has been off so many times; have had two different new tanks shipped to me and neither fit, was going to just live with it, but the petcock wouldn't transfer either
I've re-sealed the split by that mounting point 3 different times now and it still leaks - not to mention all the fuel that comes out through the threads of the cap (even with the S3 cap).

I think finding the washer will be the hardest part; that size bolt is in stock at the local Ace.
