Be careful that you have freeplay at the lever. If there is not enough the return poet in the master cylinder won't open enough to release pressure. Or that hole can get blocked.
Thanks, this is good stuff. It's all OEM parts, PO didn't molest the bike, just neglected it (sat for a long time). Did I mention the air filter had disintegrated to dust, so he wrapped the entire assembly (crumbly air filter and all) in a T-shirt? No idea if he ran it much that way, or if the filter crumbled DURING it's dis-use, but it fires up and runs fine.
