I did weigh my '04 200 once. I think it was around 225 to 235 lbs. cant remember exactly. Once rolling you really cant feel the weight on the gas gas. Its real nimble and has a nice light feel. I've had a couple of KDX 200's and they feel heavy when riding vs the gas gas even though there about the same weight. It really comes down to terrain, weather, tires, rubes, suspension, skill, etc.

bowhunter007, I just sold a R1100GS. You want heavy, try rolling it through the woods, I have. uggggg. I'll stay on my little gasgas for off roading.

For sure. I think most riders have experienced some form of "overweight" offroad riding. I agree lighter would be nice, but any bike I currently own tips scales beyond 250ish pounds.
