What are your jetting specs and carb settings? Initial jetting specs are crucial to start any two stroke bike. I personally would drop $20 on brass before I started dropping 10 times that on electrical parts. What electrical issues did you experience to point you to it being an ignition/electrical issue?
Post up your carb specs and jetting and we'll have a look. Did you do a compression test yet?
