Yeah, $3000 seems ok to me but they normal go for lower more in the 2700 range. I'm thinking because it's close and in good shape I'd go up to 3200 maybe a bit more.. This thing isnt a garage queen in showroom condition, he uses it for what it was made for doing hair scrambles and pretty challenging trail riding often, so it has to have a bit of wear. He has put a new piston in it but that doesn't do anything for the rest of the engine which is all still original.
I've been watching them for a few years and it seems that the prices have been inching up since the release of their 18 models. Because of this I'm starting to look at beta as well, but I'm still fairly set on a 2011 ec300
