Pity you lost you ride. This isn't the first time I've read this and not constrained to gasgas.

I'd replace the left crank bearing at a minimum, only other minor weak point. Actually I'd just do the whole lot as I did when my 07 left brg failed after only 12 years service.

Strange things happen
.. my RZ350 undid its clutch nut at 25,000km having last been touched in the factory.
