If there are lots of sharp rocks you need to go for a strong sidewall tire (mitas ) to avoid cuts that are v hard to plug

In terms of wearing out the red liner can stretch (after a few years) and/or get damaged by tire irons
The rubber around the valve clamp can get worn (also after a few years) and the inner tube can also get old and pop (it is at 100 psi so advisable to replace once a year just to be safe about $8) but all of these parts are available and reasonably priced and should
