I am thinking of painting my hohp exhaust with clear heat proof paint as I'm trying to avoid the ongoing fight with rust forming on it. Currently after every ride I am removing it and using steel wool and soap as well as at 2000 wet and dry to get rid of any rust that is forming. I'm thinking of using something similar to this product
http://www.speco.com.au/vht_flameproof.html as it is clear and does not require a primer. Anyway I'm just wondering if if anyone else has done this or has any comments, good or bad idea?
