The injector arrived in today's mail.
Installed it but will try it out tomorrow.
It's the IWP043 which is compatible with IWP162 found on the bike originally.
IWP043 has a brown ring.
The IWP162 has a white ring.
They flow 330 cc/min at 3 bar.

So far.
Each time I try starting the engine it fires but then acts like it has run out of fuel.
Letting it rest now to recharge the battery on its tender.

Well, got it to start. Idled just fine. When throttle is applied it balks.
Let it rest a bit and it ran much better.
But, an hour later, gas all over the floor.
Turns out the O-rings are a bit smaller on the new injector.
Save your old O-rings to put on the new injector.

Reinstalled the original injector after a YouTube cleaning.
Starts and idles just fine.
Runs fantastic. Do a 30 mile loop from sea level to 5,000'.
Running better than ever.
Start back down and the original problems return.
Make home, pull injector again and...
Send off for professional ultrasonic cleaning.

Injector arrived in today's mail.
Injector RX in Houston cleaned ultrasonically and flow tested.
Installed and bike idles fine.
There is a bit of a lag when I blip the throttle.
I will do a test ride tomorrow to evaluate.

Ok, injector back from Injector RX in Houston.

Bike starts right up, idles and now for a test loop.
No more bogging. Everything nice and smooth.
Pulls from all rpm's.
Only need to fiddle with the idle a bit.
Very happy.
