As far as the kickstart goes, I'm not at all worried. The kickstart lever knuckle on my 300RR siezed up as I only used it about 3 times when it was new and never needed it again.

I rode most of the beta models at the beta demo ride this spring. I was very comfortable on the 250 race edition and the 390 thumper. The suspension was fine but not at the same level as kayaba. I noticed a slight twitch at high speed turn in on the two stroke but not on the thumper. Overall the Betas are great and I think the Sachs forks were very good. Beta offers an Ohlins fork upgrade.
