I run on the wet setting at all times unless on the motocross track, which may be a 10 minute run a year... I have a 300 with the big ignition, and it seems to make a fair amount of difference. Otherwise it really seems to be a somewhat traction control type of thing it just hooks up so nicely on that setting (Wet/Cloudy).
