The caliper is solid mounted to the fork on one side. The other half slides

On the disk rotor / caliper side there is a thick washer / spacer between
the fork and the bearing.

Thank you Jeff. I think the bearing number will do him a lot of good. The spacer dimensions are also going to help him a lot.
