No that's incorrect. Put bike on a stand so that rear wheel is off the ground. Put it in first gear and turn wheel as far forward that the lower chain strand is tight, then lift chain at the end of the upper chain slider on top of swingarm.

You should get three fingers under the chain unless you've hands like Hulk.

That's about 53 to 56 millimeters if you prefer to measure it. Measure on different parts of the chain and dont forget that the lower part of the chain must be tight...
