I just made one. I used 3/4" square tubing, the original top part out of the factory kickstand (mine was steel), and made my own camel toe bottom.

I put a couple of slight bends to make it tuck up properly and not interfere with the wheel travel.


Original top piece (had to cut and grind the welds on the original to get it free to re-use.


Dimpled the 3/4 tubing to key with the original mounting head.


My version of a camel toe, works great on soft surfaces.


Welded on a bolt head to hold the spring.




Maybe I'll paint it someday. But it has been on the bike for a couple of years now. Works great, was cheap and a hell of a lot stronger than the stock one. Doesn't hardly weigh more than the original.
