heres my jetting 165 main
35 pilot
stock needle clip 2nd from the top
stock slide #7
btw i race A class.
With this jetting this bike is very crisp, and pulls so good... but 40 miles to 9.5 litres of gas, doesnt cut for me... how do you get better gas mileage of it.???
i had a similar problem to this twice now. 2000 xc200 with 36mm carb. 170/40/2 turns/ddk/#5 slide/clip #2, was running fine, then went super rich on the bottom all of a sudden. ran through almost 5 gallons(!!!!) of gas in 2.5 hour race. i replaced float needle, lowered floats 2mm, and replaced a reed (1 was not sealing well.) this appeared to fix it. i'm not sure what the problem was exactly, but i think the float height and reed problem combination was the culprit, we shall see.....
