Thanks for the reply! No, but I can hear it spin up each time. It was definitely "zzzzzzsssinnng" when I switched the key on, every single time.
It really is hard to believe the plug, that looked perfect, just "stopped working", isn't it? I'll stick it on the lawn mower plug wire tomorrow and give it a spin to see if it really is "broke".
I do appreciate any and all speculation on this!
