I'm using a 13T Talon front sprocket with a 52T JT rear sprocket and RK 520 X-ring chain. The chain and rear sprocket have held up well, but my front is getting hooked. I had to readjust the chain a couple times for stretch but just minor adjustments. I have run this combination for a year now, so overall each component has held well in my opinion.

This gear ratio works really well for tight, technical trails. Most time I'm running in 3rd and 4th gear, with 2nd and 3rd for corners (depending upon severity). 1st gear is used only for very slow stuff like getting over logs. For higher speed straight sections, my bike is geared a little too low. I'm in 6th gear and reving high at around 50mph.

I'm going to try a 51T or 50T rear sprocket next time. This will make my 1st gear more usable and allow some more speed in 6th gear.
