If you mean the clevis where it bolts to the linkage, these can be cracked by over torquing them. They can be replaced and I think I paid around $20 for the part, and then obviously time/labour to remove it from the shaft and replace. At the time I had suspension tuner replace for free during a service. Now, I'd likely have a go at it myself.
