I think I've finally got my starter fixed , I did the Bendix fix & it only lasted so long .
I fitted a new starter sprocket as the last 1 had a few teeth missing , I then noticed I had teeth missing on the top of my Bendix , I bought a Vespas Bendix on the off chance it might fit 14/40 tooth .
It was about 4mm longer so I made a 4mm gasket & my bike is now starting as it should .
Time will tell if it lasts .
