My starter works 100% of the time. Every time. Hot or cold. And I live in Canada. So it gets cold.
Just cause its in the same old location doesn't mean its an old design. At least not in this case...
No word on a "new" motor. But this one was very heavily updated for 2018. New cases, new head, new crank, basically everything was new except the transmission gears.
