solved!! Thanks for the brainstorming gasgasman.
So I pulled off my kids kickstand from his 250xcf-w right away realized it's the exact same design as the gasgas. Literally all the mounts etc are identical. Popped out the bushing and used his collar bolt. viola works awesome. And just for fun, I put mine on his and left it that way. He's going to be pissed when he goes to move his bike.

KTM OEM Parts here, looks like KTM used the bushing from 08 - 17 so should be able to get them at any orange shop in town.
