Stator and flywheel are a direct interchange 2K2 vs 2K3. If you upgrade (?) to 2K3 you have to use the matching flywheel.
My kid has the 2K3. I run the 2K2. We both like the performance each delivers for our own riding style (quite a difference in my OPINION). But we don't need high power lights for night riding.
Everything will bolt up and plug in. You just need a KX flywheel puller. Piece of cake
