And beware that there is quite a lot of up down play in the mains. So dont get too scared of that.

My left main died and I replaced the rod at the same time. Starting to get some washer wear so might not have lasted another year or two. So 11 years is getting close to the limit unless you are riding quite a lot.

120hrs to replace? pfft!
