When I had my 300 big bore kit built I was told the GG cylinders were a close copy of the early 1990s CR250 Cylinder. Which is probably why the power valve assembly is the same.
You can pretty easily move the GG power curve up the RPM range to act like the CR250 if that is what you are looking for.
