These were in part all due to my father buying a 1998 EC250.
What piston are you using for the 327?
Is it an overbore of the stock 300cc cylinder?
The 274cc '99 EC that I rode for so long used a 14th oversize Wiseco piston made for the TRX250R quad, matched to a 69.5mm bore (and replate) of the original 66.4mm 250cc cylincer. Relatively simple, the only extra modification it required was to grind down the powervalve flapper to allow the larger piston to clear.

A fellow in Illinois put a 250cc cylinder on his 200, making it a 225cc. He said that the only special modification it needed was a bunch of base gaskets, due to the larger "deck height" of the 200cc piston compared to the 250cc piston.

Good Riding and Wrenching to You!
