Horn

im in the middle making a new woring harness for my 2000 300 GasGas, when i bought the bike it didnt have a horn fitted so im going to add one, will i need to use a relay ? or can i just wire it stright from the stator via a button?

I think you'll need a regulator.I plan to install one on my 2012 200xc.

i got a regulator....... just not sure if i need a relay as im not sure if the button will carry enough power through to power it

You can power a horn with 12v directly, but I believe a relay is used for consistant voltage delivery. My 2003 EC 250 came with an aftermarket headlight. I got the O.E. headlight as well, it has a horn & horn relay mounted behind the factory headlight shroud. This is available as well, if you haven't reviewed it...
