the insert your looking for is called a mousse,
how did the second tube go flat, where was the hole, what did it look like? with a bit of detective work you should be able to work it out. (im presuming reasonable pressures and no rocks involved) make sure you tape over your spoke nipples inside the rim. i also use a old hd tube, cut lengthwise on the inside, i put that over my hd tube... never had a flat.... |

Were they pinch flats? You can tell by seeing if there is two "snake bite" style punctures, if it is, try rubber grease on the tube, 14psi and don't screw down the valve stem bolt, screw it to the valve cap to allow some movement.
If its a straight puncture, see if its on the inside diameter of the tube, if so, inspect the rubber wheel liner in the rim, just keep it in place and slowly lift it up, moving round the wheel, it should show a tear somewhere, which will indicate a sharp spoke, find the spoke, round it of gently with a file. Replace wheel liner with duct tape. If its outside diameter, run your fingers slowly and gently inside the tire after having a look to see for foreign objects. I don't know beyond that.

just a nightmare really. i didnt take apart the tire/tube the first time.the person who did said the valve stem was ripped away from the tube(maybe caused by riding it a short way with a flat dunno..)didnt have the tire taken apart yet from the second flat..when he fixed it the first time he broke the rim lock.so he took it back apart and we put one in from a rm125. 13 psi and after riding 1 hour another flat. ill post what i find when we take it apart again...never had this problem before and i my self had changed many tires/tubes. always tighten the valve stem bolt 13 psi and rim lock snug etc. the only way it didnt hold air was when i put it back together and i pinched the tube lol.but most of the time it worked and held air for a long time...
