Tail/brake light question

Ive got a 2007 EC300 with 2k3 ignition and rear taillight connector which has W, V, and YG wires. I hooked up rear LED and only brake light works, no running light. Any thoughts?
The bike does not have a multifunction switch, so are there wires in the front i need to wire together to get the taillight to work?

Check the manual here. It has a wiring diagram, it might help you to locate the running wire for the brake lights?

Appreciate the reply. Yeah, later that day I realized there was a connection up front that needed to be made in order to supply power in the back. I didnt need a switch, so I just hard wired together for now. Rear light now works like a charm. thanks
