Best reed cage for 2001EC 300

I think I have decided to keep my 2001. I am pretty sure the boyseen is in there now. I would like to have a little more top end since it pulls just fine on the bottom. Will the Vforce III make much difference?

My '03 250 picked up some everywhere, but mainly low to mid going from the RAD valve to the VForce II. The 300 and the VF III may be a different story, hard to say. You could also experiment with cyl deck height/compression with base gaskets, timing, and removal of the reed spacer.

My '03 had a Rad Valve that came with Power Reeds (dual stage - fiberglass/fiberglass). I installed Pro Series reeds (dual stage - carbon fiber/fiberglass) and got better performance on bottom and particularly on top. The reeds are from a '96 YZ250, part number PSR 21).
