It looked like a serious whiskey throttle or stuck throttle. The front end lifted as he entered the turn, and then the rest indicates a full power attack. I hope he's okay, that looked like a bad deal all around.

I had a few close calls like that on the KTM, the fuel line at a twist kink, took forever to figure out. would slowly run lean then take off like a flying banshee (usually toward the largest pine ahead). Made for some interesting moments, but I got really good at getting into 5th really fast and dumping the clutch - of course if you are already in 5th, you'er sorta screwed

Luckily, there wasn't any traffic. KTMs make lousy hood ornaments.
