I have a scotts with the underbar setup. Used to work great on the 07 nbut in the end it started to get hard to turn the bike. Took it off the 07 and then put it on the 12 and it was crap.
I will be sending it off to get serviced very soon.

Having said that I just did a very rutted , bulldusty, sandy, whooped out double fist size limestone rock strewn mallee enduro without the damper and the bike was absolutely awesome.
The suspension is just about there me thinks
Cheers Mark

And I have a motosportz on my 2010. Don't have much seat time on it but am happy with the time I do. Kelly was a pleasure to deal with as well. Haven't used any other brands so no comparison to make.

Scotts, because I like the high speed ckt function with the low speed damping dialed out. A quality top mount tower is a problem though. I picked up a second really nice slightly used Scotts with for a price I couldn't resist. Fastway unit is very nice with the same design philosophy, buying new that would be a top choice as well.

The WER, GPR, and Motosportz all have only a simple, single passive valve ckt. Despite what they say it is not the same. The Scotts and Fastway have an active valve that kicks in a lot more dampening under high bar rotation speed.

Shark4465- can you post a pic of your motosportz setup? I'm curious to see where the collar is positioned in relation to the front of the gas tank.

I have the top mount and I'm not happy at all with the fit of the collar. I'd like to see if the collar on the submount is any different.

On the '12, this will be an issue with any tower because the tower center has to be in the general position of the tank bolt. The pre '05 frames were like this too, in '05 they moved it and it was easier. The Scotts tower will perhaps be a little better because its center is closer to steering stem center, but thats why its weaker. My custom tower is just like the Motosportz, half over the bolt.
