hi i try replace the oil of my sachs shock i need info about the oil what is the viscosity and preferred brand name

just serviced a sachs i used 5w silkalean or morris hope this helps Brian

5 wt viscosity index 400 or better, fully synthetic if possible. High vi and synthetic to reduce time before oil breakdown. Shock oil works very hard.

Most of the newer suspension designs run a 5 wt in the forks and 2.5 in the shock. Safe is to go by what your manual says.
