I am running 110 on my 2011. Was recommended by several people in here. Makes the bike work really well.

Which chassis?
Makes a big difference. The older linkage was happy running 105-115mm. The newer ones operate better in the 95-105mm range. In either case, a heavier spring with less preload will feel better than a light spring that's cranked up to get the sag figures on. Aim to keep preload under 10mm. |

Jakobi it is a 2015 300 stock at the moment but I am thinking about having Drew Smith WER redo the shock n forks . I have about 30 to 40 hours on the bike and feel like it might benefit from a good suspension mans work . Would you have heaver springs put in ? I am 200 lbs with gear 57 year old fast c slow b rider . Geared more toward technical riding not so much fast riding , I have had the sag set at 105 now and it does work good . Plush suspension seems to work well for me but I am wondering if I went with a heaver spring and less preload . Thanks for the help !

If you're thinking of using a particular tuner, then I would simply work with them. At 200lbs you may find going up a rate is a good. Thing. What is your static sag atm? If its around 25mm I would go up a rate, where as if its 35mm I'd call it good.

On my new (to me) 2015 EC200 I have static sag at 30 and race sag at ~95 according to my mate who helped me measure it up.
I think this sounds strange as I am approx 85kg (~187lbs) naked and would have expected a higher value for the race sag. The installed OEM spring is 52N/mm. According to the owner's manual I should have a 54 or 56 N/mm spring. But at these measuremens the 52 spring looks to be spot on. How come? I don't know how many hours the bike had with the previous owner, but it's not been used a lot. Perhaps 20 hrs. I'll take it out on the first ride tomorrow and look forward to see how it all works out.
