Default I bought a Gasser ('05 EC250)

A fellow club member had a 2005 EC250 that he bought last year off the showroom floor. A half year later and it is mine.

Two things I need... A Scotts over-bar stabilizer, and someone to buy my '03 Dangerously Modified (tm) KDX220...

I have a Scotts over bar mount that I might be willing to sell. It's off an 07 EC250 but should fit your bike. Like new condition.

Cool.

PM sent...

Ooops. He only has the post (which I have), not the damper itself.

Congratulations Rick. Awesome to see that you finally bought a Gasser. After your test rides last year i thought you were leaning more to a 300, but that doesnt matter.

I hope you love it

Nice pick up!

Hey you look shorter than me! I don't recommend riding barefoot either!

Congrats! Now buy some gear. Is that a front trials tire? For off road your better off with a front knobby, the fronts are not radials like the rears.

That's my daughter on the bike. She's normally well-equipped on her PW80. She did tell me she has dibs on the Gasser "when I turn ten or something?"

I was, at the time. I do think that the 300 would serve my riding style (lack of skill) better (hill climbs, loafing), but every time I rode a 250 (be it GG, KTM, YZ, Husky, etc), I had more fun. So 250 vs 300 went 50/50, and then 60/40. Either one would have worked, in the end.

Those are Dunlop 803 tires front and rear (with four rides on 'em). Bought it that way. I had my doubts about trials tires but having put a frisky half-hour on them, I can say that they are really sticky. It doesn't rain here much so mud isn't a factor. Some have said that they aren't very good in sand, but neither am I. I sprinted down a curvy sand wash and they did fine for me.
