Default Power Valve Cleaning

OK so Ive already taken the carb off to clean that and Ive read you guys usually clean the PV while doing a top end rebuild, but can it be cleaned on the bike? Or does the head need to come off to completely remove it and clean?

Im just trying to get some needed maintenance taken care of while Im doing all of this.
