Default big advantage Öhlins 48 fork to Shiver 45?

May be I can buy a new öhlins fork.
Is there a huge difference in dumping between a GG stock 48mm Öhlins or GG stock Marzocchi Shiver 45. Year 2008.Tuning assumed!!!
Is it like day and night or only like BMW and AUDI.
I know the Öhlins is a CC.
But what is the biggest pro and con for a relative fast amateur enduro driver?(no crosstrack)
Is it worth to invest in such tuning?
