PFP Backing itself out ?

Hi again
After cleaning my bike yesterday I noticed that I could see the PFP Adjustment on the left fork leg had backed itself out to a point where the o ring was showing , I had adjusted these a while back to 2 turns out from in and when I've just checked them they were both pretty much backed off fully !
Does anyone know why or what has caused this?
Bike is an 2012 ec300 racing
Forks are Marzocchi 48s

There was another thread with the same issue a while back. Have a search.

Basically a snap ring/circlip has popped off. Will need to disassemble to resolve. Delicate threads, and a little tedious.
