Pinhole in case
Upon splitting the case on an '03 280 I found a pinhole leading to transmission side. I'm a Harley tech and don't have a lot of experience in 2 strokes, but I don't think the hole should be there. Any info would be appreciated

Welcome to the forum.
Does it look like a casting flaw or a drilled hole? |

Thought it was cast in at first

Looks like it is drilled.
That does not seem right, as the crank case should be totally sealed from the transmission. I would contact Jim Snell as he is the trials bike guru. http://www.trialspartsusa.com/repair-services.html |
