I've read the reviews, but I will hold judgement until after I've got some hours on my new bike. That six days bike was really good, so here's hoping my 09 is just as good. If not, I guess I'll eat my words and give Les a call.

My 2009 had 15 hours before it felt like the suspension was getting broke in. The first ride, I left it at stock clicker settings, and a only set the sag. It was way stiff and rebound seemed way too fast. I backed off the compression to full soft, then went 5 clicks toward stiff side and have left it there. Also set the rebound accordingly. Now, after ~20 hours, it feels pretty good to me from a compression standpoint. I have noticed a pogo effect over some sharp edged bumps and roots this past weekend, so some more work with the rebound clickers is needed. Big hits, g-outs, and log jumps on the SACHS is better than any suspension I have ever had.
Overall, I like the action better than the WP stuff on my '08 300XC, I never found even a happy medium.

IMO the stock action of the sachs forks is rubbish. Bad unpredictable deflections and harsh no matter what clicker settings or preload adjustment. I have a 09 250 Race and we've been trying to make them work for 6 months and ended up putting in suspension from a 05. They'll soon make their way to LTR as he seems to be the only one with a solution.
