Default sachs fork report

I have a stock 2010 ec300 with the red Sachs forks. All I have done to them is get them serviced , increase the oil a tad,& play with the clickers.Have been pretty happy with them.
Then I got reading a thread with some comments from Dave at STM Suspension who had been working on the same bike. After a few emails it became clear my 100kg payload was a little excessive for my .42 stock fork springs. And he never used the term 'pie eater' 'lard arse' or 'donut storage facility'.Anyway, dave recommended the .48's & got them to NZ real fast so I was able to get them in before a 2 day ride in Waiouru (see youtube clips, wicked cool).
Bottom line is,if you have these forks & are over 75kg.GET THE RIGHT SPRINGS! It transforms these forks incredibly.Has got rid of the harsh spike, doesn't dive, tracks way better through ruts & sucks up small harsh stuff that would have you nervous before.STM also do revalve & stiction reduction that would make them even better.
So don't write them off yet, should have done this from the start, doh.
