Really enjoyed this thread.I actually really like guns, but when you see the facts. No way ,will i bother with them.I,ve been in lots of crazy situations, one involved camping in south central L.A years ago, overnight.Stayed with a couple in mount isa Austraila who met when he was stalking her on a contract hit,by her ex.Fire arms would not have helped in those situations,so why when riding my dirt bike.Come ride Canada while we still can, leave the guns at home, you only have to be faster than the slowest guy,if you are afraid of the wild life.

I really think, for the most part, a lot people like to believe that "they are prepared for the unthinkable" Most are not. Most like the security "feeling" of packing some heat. For a lot of folks, myself included, gun ownership is part of a lifetime of everyday living. I grew up with firearms shoved in every nook & cranny of our house. My dad was gunsmith, and we had a full scale machine shop, at home. My kids(4 girls) learned early to just not discuss guns in mixed company, or they got "blacklisted" by their friends parents. Either way, regardless of political beliefs...Men invented guns, and regardless of whatever laws are on the books, men will possess & use them.

Check this out. Sweet.. What a nice gun for home defense. That dual tube magazine is brilliant.

That is certainly an attention getter. I wonder how cool an autoloader version would be. You'd need a hopper, like paintball gun, or belt fed
