Either the workers or the workers union. Tarrot is the electric bicycle company right?

It'd be sweet if they revived the electric trials bike from a few years back which seems to have been forgotten. Maybe that and an electric Cami....

Aside from that, lose a couple more lbs and get the airbox/bodywork/seat to be less fiddly and GG would be back in the running. Maybe the 2014/15's have this figured out already idk...

The 2012-2013 airbox debacle will haunt this brand forever it seems and that is a shame considering another brand suffered thru 3 years of gas caps leaking, but yet...it's forgiven and forgotten by the public.

For the record...2014 and 15 seat / airbox is about as simple stupid as any other brand on the market today.

At this point...the workers don't care who the new owner is, they just want their jobs back and a paycheck each week. It will be interesting to see if the other 2 bidders "sweeten the pie" while they still have the chance.

Pretty sure Gas Gas had a good couple years of leaking fuel caps as well. 10/11 couldn't stop the rubber seal from shrinking up and allowing fuel to slosh out everywhere. More than one bloke managed to have the nipple where the hose attaches snap off as well, not to mention the plug on the bottom would drop off letting the ball bearing/check valve and plug to all jiggle around at the bottom of the tank.

I like the way the GG filters overlap the frame and push into the airboot. It makes it very hard to achieve a poor sealing surface, even if the filter moves a bit on the frame during install. BUT! IMO the newer 13-15 airbox is too small volume wise - and that is with a bike with no battery. Jam that in there too and you run out of space quickly. They don't seal up very well, let a load of crud into the airbox (both dust, mud and water) and the duckbill at the bottom chokes up as soon as you get a pebble in it; even after modification.

Sure other brands have their issues too, so we can point the finger for days!

Back on topic, I cant understand the Spanish translation either. Looks like the tenders have been made public, and they are speculating to some preference (whoever they are). Either way it's promising news.

.

Looks like Torrot makes some cool electric motos, just not bicycles. This could be a very good new owner of Gas Gas, if it happens.
