It would be fun but it wouldn't be very fast in tight woods.
That's why they went away, tons of power but little is usable power. One of the mags raced a service Honda 500AF against a new 450F and the 450 smoked it on the track. I would love to spend a few hours on GG500 2 stroke but I would never buy one. 100 mile enduro in new england on a 500? I would drop dead before the bike ran out of gas 20 miles from the gas stop.
