That was a must on my 2006 450EXC or it would spit out anything over the fins when the going was slow. RLR made a nice little overflow/recovery bottle that allowed me to run the extra coolant.

I have always taken the tank out and replaced it with a connector hose. Never ran the tanks at all as it is a bad idea. I have no overheating problems except that I sometimes have to empty my Camelbak into my friends' KTM 4Ts radiators.

I couldn't ride a 450F around here without EVANS coolant.
